Like new inside!

Cowls have one minor dent in nose bowl of top cowl - other than that the cowl are like new!!

Left wing need to be rebuilt - RH wing may need repair as well

Vertical fin and rudder need to be replaced/repaired and
lower rear fuselage needs to be repaired

McCauley Black Mac prop 35 since new - was running when it went over

Horizontal stab, elevators, ailerons, and flaps are not damaged

Floats are in very good condition - very well maintained!


Not the usual worn out junkie 185 that you’re used to – before the "flip"- this was one of the most pampered, well maintained 185's around - low time, well maintained, and very clean - once it's fixed, it will make a really nice airplane again!!  

Was a really good performer - 140 MPH in the air and almost 1100 lb useful load!!
