5 hours since "Bottom end" was done including all new bearings, rear cover, oil pump etc.

The Aeronca Scout is basically a Chief. In 1947 they made an 11-AC without the hand pull starter, & the 5 gal aux tank & called it the Scout.

There were around 100 Built so it is a Rare Aircraft that still has full product support.

New interior, engine redone, wings, and all tail surfaces refabriced in 1993 - then aircraft stored in dry, Northern Alberta hangar since - engine was properly inhibited and was run often - engine was recently "borescoped" and is like new inside.

If you are looking for a two seat airplane to buy - why get a worn out one that will cost big bucks to get in this condition - this one is in great shape and cheap too!!

This is a great little airplane -  has lots of room, is in great condition, has new fabric on the wings and tail services and most of all - it's a simple little Aeronca Scout so all you have to worry about, is having fun!!!
