It is an unbelievable airplane to fly off the ground, off the water, and in the air!! I was given a mission to build the best amphib I could when we put this airplane together - I think we succeeded!!
If you fly this airplane and then fly a similarly equipped 185 or 206, you'll find no comparison!! This airplane is a joy to fly - lots of power, lots of speed, light on the controls, and is amazing off the ground and the water!!
Some people have two airplanes - one to go to the cottage and one to go to Florida - why have two - this amphib can give you good speed and versatility for both!!
This ain't your "Grandfather's old 182" -
and if you take grandpa for a ride you better hope his heart's good!!!

The following are pictures after we restored it:

New custom paint with "newer 172" style scheme - really sharp looking!!

Nice clean panel

Please feel free to
give me a call if you have an airplane in mind, if you have a project that
you've run out of "steam" on, or if you have something that needs to
be rebuilt or restored - homebuilt, certified, or
owner - maintenance.
